Troubleshooting

 

The same test equipment as we use for installations can be used to troubleshoot problems on existing networks. Sometimes cabling hasn’t been carried out to the same high standards that we use, or damage may have been caused by mechanical impact, rodents or general wear and tear. Either way, we can pinpoint the problems and fix them with the minimum of fuss.

We also have the means to carry out full testing on ADSL broadband lines, using a dedicated test unit. This provides us with unequivocal evidence which can be passed on to the ADSL provider, who will often blame microfilters, routers, customer wiring, etc. before actually checking whether the problem lies on their side.
